Eastern Daylight Time, schuyler.larrabee_@_verizon.net writes: DL&W 35478 was a 36', 30 ton capy box car, with "friction draft gear" and was part of a series numbered 34000-35999. In 1916, there were 1889 of them left in the fleet. Cement was hauled in bags until the 30's when covered hoppers began to be used.
