(erielack) DL&W Freight Cars

Listers,

Just wondering if I am right in this assumption.  In looking closely at
several DL freight car photos, it looks like beginning in 1958 and up to
the merger, repaints got reporting marks only.  LACKAWANNA lettering was
not put back on the car.  This seems to be true for box cars, open
hoppers and covered hoppers that I've seen.

Is this correct?
