I agree that the green can look too dark, as I painted another tower that way before using my own concoction of paints to get the color I thought looked correct. However I realized it was too dark as I started painting the unseen side. I decided my tower was going to be *heavily* weathered, such that it was mostly aged wood siding showing through a peeling coat of green paint. I thought it turned out well. The trim stayed mostly red and there was enough green you knew what you were looking at. I thought I'd ask the list for ideas this time and maybe avoid the "too dark" look. The Euro green looks pretty good, plus a little drybrushing with a light color should help brighten it up.
