Listers, Someone gave me a complete set of NJ Transit ETT Hoboken & Newark Districts (#3, 10.26.86), Rules (Rev. #1, 2.1.87), Special Instructions, Electric Operating Instructions (Rev. #1, 11.1.85), Air Brake & Train Handling Instructions (8.3.86), Safety Rules (Rev. #1, 10.26.86), & First Aid Information. Some questions on the Pascack Valley Line: Yard Limits are shown as from Pascack Jct. (M.P. 7.6 on the Bergen County Line) to M.P. 14.1 (Fairmount Av., Hackensack). Does this apply to the main track? Fairmont [sic] Av. is shown as a station. Since passenger service at this station ceased several years before 1986, and since there are no sidings anywhere near Fairmount Av., is there some reason why it was retained as a station? Thanks.
