Subject: (erielack) 33 years ago 1/4/1972 Today’s dispatch sheet shows the following nteresting points: Eastbound Marion shows train “Plastic Extra” w/ 3623-3622-3626 cab 375, 75/1. Anyone have any insight into “Plastic Extra”? >> Might that be "Passaic?" Passaic Jct was also called BT, and we had a BT Ordinary, etc, on the NY Division in the late 1960's. It's possible that even a Marion dispatcher could transmogrify the name, especially on third trick. ------------------------------
