Today’s dispatch sheet shows the following interesting points: Westbound Kent NE97 with BN 5755-6490-6488 which were the same 3 BN units Eastbound on NE74 on 1/2/72. In Marion these 3 units lash up to SFE97/Q97. Eastbound Marion shows train “Plastic Extra” w/ 3623-3622-3626 cab 375, 75/1. Anyone have any insight into “Plastic Extra”? NE74 delayed due to plant failure at AC due to snow. PC called and informed of delay, some PC trains listed with their times due into Marion. Some of this is illegible. NE74 gets signal at 2045 and departed AC at 2115. Westbound Marion MILW/CNW97 w/ 818w-830e-817w-810e-813w-815e cab 331, 24/93. Interesting that the E8s are shown in which direction they are facing. Also of note on this one is that in the margin the blocks are listed – L&N 3/10, EJ&E 1/0 and so on. I hope everyone is enjoying these little reports.
