Then there's the oft-forgotten by most connection put in (and I think it's
still in place in the weeds) from the former DL&W Boonton Line (now the
"Main Line") just east of the Hackensack River bridge ("Upper Hack") to the
east end of Croxton - it paralleled the Boonton Line/Main Line while
decreasing in elevation, and then when it met up with the Greenwood Lake
going into Croxton, it turned east and followed it into the yard. This
connection allowed trains coming in off the new Main Line to enter Croxton
(they could alternately come down the Bergen County Line and enter Croxton
from its west end at HX Interlocking)
