The first train down was an RS and two cars. It was the last train up at night. The second train in each direction was the main train -- from nine down to six cars as traffic declined because of the Hoboken switch. The last down, first up was five cars. Randy Brown - -------------------------------------------------------------- That's a pretty decent-length train. As I recall, there were 3 trains in each direction on the Northern Branch. Was that the case until all service was terminated? Any ideas on train lengths and passengers carried at the end? Ken Bush ------------------------------
