Right at the south end of the "lake". Only sandpit on DL&W shows along with a siding about halfway between 46 and 10. You are correct, probably nearly all of those lakes were sand or gravel pits originally (never use absolutes, as soon as you do, someone will come along with, "...oh no, that one was a spring, and my great grand father dammed it..."! Jim Thanks Jim.. The DL&W siding, it must appear on the West (RR south) side of the main, no? Where does it show the Ferromonte going? Id love to read more about that road..
