I was walking down the Chester branch today, in the vicinity, smack between Holland mfg switch and county concrete.. I came across several large concrete foundations that apparently used to house some sort of crane or machinery.. I have been back there 50 times before but never noticed it till today.. It sits in the thin strip of land bewteen the M&E's Chester branch and Chesler Lake. Its a long shot, but does anyone know what it might have been? Ive been told that Chesler Lake was a quarry or mining pit way back in the day. - -Pat ------------------------------
