Chris and all,
First off, the former Erie RS2s and RS3s were delivered with the single headlight as on the P2K model (see http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/el/loco/erie954alb.jpg)
That being said, the Erie modified theirs fairly early on to the "safer" and brighter twin-sealed beam (i.e., if one of the beams burned out, one would still work)
I believe most of the detail part manufacturers (Cal-Scale, Details West, Details Associates, etc.) make twin-sealed beam castings that can "plug in" to the existing hole (maybe with a little reaming to get it in there), and then you can touch up the yellow paint.

Did anyone notice that (at least as I can tell from Paul T.'s photo) the
headlight is incorrect? I believe the Erie and EL RS-2s had the twin
horizontal headlights and not the large single one on the EL version and
the earlier released Erie version.
Any thoughts on how to rectify without a lot of headaches?
