Re: (erielack) Railroad presidents and EL business trains

NS typically assigns 2607 and/or 2616. Both were in Binghamton the week of
July 4th with their executive train for a celebration in Waverly(150th
anniversary of Waverly incorporation??) on the 4th. I understand Mr. Goode
was to be in attendance. I imagine he flew into Binghamton or Elmira to
attend. One of them also ran the train the the Democratic convention in
Boston, via CSX.

The CSX F40s were through Syracuse last week, so they are still around-for
now.

I miss CR's E units. They made for a classy train. I remember Jack Kithcart
running CR 4022(Erie 833) on a Southern Tier employees' train in 1989. He
notched them out leaving Corning headed east, and there was no catching him.
