Track 1 is on concrete ties through the station. It appears this was done in the recent past. Stacks of more concrete ties are between the wall and track 2, so it is being done as well. About 4pm, an eastbound deadhead move came from Port Morris with two diesels and a solid run of Comet V cars; I was at Crescent Field watching my son's soccer game (lost 3-0 to a bigger and faster Dover team) and too far to read car numbers. Dover - Rockaway Road bridge is being stripped of asphalt overlays before being removed. Blackwell Street is SOMETIMES closed to traffic between Lakeland Bus and Howmet. ===== Gary R.
