Hi folks,
As promised, a few shots of today's "Pumpkinliner" train at the Whippany Railway Museum. The photos of the all-caboose train are pretty appropriate, because:
1) The M&E was a big DL&W/Erie/EL interchange partner.
2) There's a DL&W and Erie caboose.
3) There's a D&H caboose (Dereco partner)
4) There's an M&E caboose, former NYS&W
I can't think of a valid reason for the PRR caboose, but it sure looks pretty! :)
By the way, the conductor hanging off the back of the M&E caboose in IMG_2503 is lister Mike Del Vecchio.
