I've said it before, but some time between 1951 and '54, I saw a beautiful, modern Erie steam engine, with disk drivers, outside the Pavonia Avenue (?) passenger terminal in Jersey City. I wish I had a picture of that engine. Also, when I was in high school in Ramsey, starting in '51, I saw steam on Erie commuter trains. Philip Martin ------------------------------
