This thread is very interesting. For example, cutting the run to Scranton, express mail, then doing the Scranton-Hoboken run. Do you have any details on this train and why it was cut back? I'm pretty sure I know but this is one of those railroad stories that doesn't get much attention. Normally, we talk about runs in general but not why runs were changed. Again, any details?
