I generated a lot of discussion about Lackawanna train speed referring to the summer-only No. 21 an advance section of "The Phoebe Snow". THE ROUTE OF PHOEBE SNOW by Sheldon S. King has a Jack Emrick picture of this train east of Boonton. On page 170 the train consists of 2 TMs, baggage car, 3 coaches, buffet lounge, and 2 more coaches. This picture was also published in one of THE BLOCK LINE issues in late 1977 or early 1978. Ed Montgomery ------------------------------
