Well, this is true - it wasn't a "new" scheme per se, but rather the adoption of a single standard. I'm sure President William White (a former DL&W man) didn't have any "favorites" here, heh heh! :)

Gee, I almost sent a copy of the same thing from memory. I remember Sept 1964 (FORTY YEARS AGO, FOLKS) as that was the month my Mom died. I think at the time, the change was to the "passenger scheme only." So it wasn't like they went to a new scheme, they just did one scheme.
