Paul and all --
I had always thought that the inbound move of the E8's and stillwells was a deadhead. With #70 leaving Port Jervis at 7:18 of a Sunday morning, it's almost the same thing.

Welcome to September!
This month's calendar photo features the final run of commuter Train 70, with all three E8s and the entire Stillwell roster dedicated to Port Jervis service, crossing the scenic bridge over the Ramapo River at Tuxedo, NY. Not much to say here, other than the E-units are pretty spiffy looking and clean for their final run. Trailing unit 816 (a former DL&W unit) appears to have a gray roof (man, those things looked homely with a gray roof!).
Does anyone know if this location is still open to such a photo, or is it now "treed-in?"
