Daily Record today reports it will be closed for about a YEAR. The bridge will be widened and have sidewalks added. I think the grades will be improved too, possibly eliminating the dip for through traffic. A traffic light will be installed at the Blackwell Street intersection as well (20 years overdue). In the meantime, traffic between Blackwell Street and West Main Street continues although the signs on either side are far from clear.
