Actually, that U34CH (the 3351) was repainted by Conrail - it was involved in a wreck, and had it repainted red-white-blue after rebuilding by GE.

It only wore that "1776" number for a very short period of time; it later got a cheesy "patch job" renumbering on the cab with a large "3351" on there.
