I made a round trip between Suffern and New York today; and I enjoyed it. The connections at Secaucus were close, (that's good.) The Erie built some very attractive stations. Ridgewood, and others, really look good. There is a new, high level platform, station, midway between Ramsey and Mahwah. The two trainmen I asked, didn't know anything about it , except that it's there. They didn't know whether or not the stations at Ramsey and/or Mahwah would close.
