RE: (erielack) Lackawanna F Unit Paint Colors

James,

Thank you and everyone else who has responded to this thread.

I used to use Accu Paints years ago however, I stop using solvent based
paints once the modern acrylic paint came out. I am now using the Poly
Scale line. I like the easy cleanup and the fact that I'm not venting
VOCs into the atmosphere, not to mention the hazardous waste issues.
With that said I still use a spray booth vented to the out side and a
respirator.

I know Accu Paints are an excellent match for the DL&W, Erie, and EL
colors. I guess I am being picky wanting to stay with the Poly Scale
acrylics. I will experiment with mixing Poly Scale EL Gray with SP
Lettering Gray and/or Reefer White in order to get "what I think is the
correct shade" for Lackawanna F Units. I'm not old enough to have ever
seen the real deal. In my opinion Poly Scale's EL Gray is too dark and
needs to be lighten.

Thanks again for the help,

Paul Cappelloni
