Paul,
I recently ordered Accu Paint from Model Railway Post Office in West
Milford, NJ. Curt Curlough did a great job in locating some Erie "Grey-Green", Erie
Dark Green, EL yellow, and EL gray. Walthers also had some of it in stock as
well. Neither shop had the Accu Paint Engine Maroon in stock, which is the
same as EL maroon.
The Accu-Paint colors both for the Erie and EL are absolutely correct. I
don't think the Polly S paint is as close.
Another option would be Scalecoat. Their EL gray, maroon and yellow are
almost as good as Accu Paint. The Maroon and yellow is correct, with the gray
real close.
In the next ELDCPS newsletter, I will write about the EL colors, and our
successful efforts with DuPont to redo the EL and Erie colors for our
equipment.
