Josh, That looks like East Syracuse from the Tift St overpass about a mile west of the old Amtrak station. The view is looking west on the NYC. I could be wrong. Tim It does look quite similar to today's track layout at the Bridge St. location in East Syracuse but up until 1962 there was a heck of a lot more track there. Also, there is no coaling tower or roundhouse visible to the left Furthermore, the large buildings to the right don't fit, either. I conclude that this was not East Syracuse but it is fascinating how the trackage is similar to the post Conrail layout at East Syracuse. John J. Blair ------------------------------
