(Sorry about the photo quallity) A heavy train of Hi-cubes and Auto Parts cars proved too much for the elderly motive power this day. That's our former EL F-7 7121 leading two additional former PC F-unit's and a U-boat. They made a spirited run for the grade at Great Notch, now down to snails pace swinging onto number 2 track just east of the station. And then slipping and stalling at the Long Hill Road overpass (Used by many photographers). The crew can be heard cursing out the old covered wagons as they climb down to inspect the sanders, they believe were clogged. But note how the fireman has such a difficult time with those 1st generation steps! Whoa.... where's that step again!! But as luck, and the Hoboken Dispatcher would have it "Pushers" were not far behind! Soon two SD-45's (One Ex-RDG) and another U-boat cut off another eastbound train at Linclon Park, shove on the rear end. Clearing up the Railroad, and the blocked crossing's in Little Falls!
