Re: (erielack) Eastern Ohio Question/One more

Paul, and others,

My error--I meant to say that the 4014 was returned to Conrail by NJDOT on
5/10/80 (per Michael Steinberg's website). The information I have seen on
HobokenTerminal.com intimate that the unit (along with X PC 4039, 4063, 4249, and
4256, as well as CR 4022) were leased by NJDOT for a period until 5/10/80, when
they were no longer needed and Conrail took them back. With the exception of
the 4249, which came to NJDOT from PC and was then traded to Conrail for the
4248 (now the "Erie 835"), none were ever owned by NJDOT unless something
happend that I am not privy to.

Thanks again,

Phil Bell
