This is from memory, and spelling doesn't count. At the east end of Croxton, under RT. 1&9 and the Paulaski Skyway there was Marion Junction, named for the Marion section of Jersey City, or so I was told. That's where the interchanges (PRR & NYSW) were. Marion Jct. was 4 or 6 tracks, I forget exactly how many. Somehow 6 seems more correct. The NYC interchanged with the EL in Weehawken (sp?). You'll find the exact info in Shepard's EL's Tidewater Terminals. Going from memory, there were three tracks that ran along the hill that is Jersey City, Gutenberg, West New York to Weehawken. One was used by B&O, Reading, and CNJ. In the 50's, I remember seeing Reading Fs under the Park Ave. viaduct. The second track was NYC that connected with the PRR in JC, if I remember correctly. The third track went from the Erie in JC to the NYC yard in Weehawken, where the Todd shipyards were, and until about 10 years age, Seatrain. Now its waterfront condos. As per Shepard, the Erie owned the east or west 850 ft. of track ?? in Weehawkin Yard. This information may also be in Shepard's track diagram book of the EL New York Division. Bill Paul R.
