Tomorrow, Thursday, Norfolk Southern's H-02 local out of Dover will once
again borrow M&E's blue-and-gray FL9s to assist its own GP15. The reason: a big
westbound train. H-02 has 59 cars to bring west to Washington.
The crew starts at Dover at 7:00 a.m. and will run to Morristown to fuel its
own engine and pick up the F-units. They will have to double their train
together, so the whole shebang may not be on the move 'till mid-day.
It's been quite some time since that many rolled through this part of the
Lackawanna on one train.
