RE: (erielack) EL depressed flat cars



Doesn't the brake gear need to be rotated 90 degrees from where Walthers has 
it sitting? Seems to me that the 7600 cars had the brake cylinder mounted 
'fore and aft' (To the left side, with the triple valve to the right, as you 
look in the direction the train is moving), while the Walthers model has it 
'left and right'.

Somewhere around here is a model waiting for the completion of that 
change/modification... And some decals.

Biggest differences: Span bolster intra-truck spacing needed to be tightened 
by 1 scale foot, the well "ends" needed to have the downward "dip" removed, 
and the spacing of the side gussets need to be redone.
