I can't seem to raise the picture, either on Railfan.net or un EL archives, but several possibilities suggest themsenves.
Katy or Frisco cars on through service on PRR were stainless with a red window band, so I doubt these are it.
Is it a single car? A lightweight? For a couple of seasons right after WWII, the SAL/PRR Orange Blossom Special ran with a red and grey scheme, 'tho Seaboard fans say the red was redder than "our" maroon. Pictures are rare, so I hope I can raise this one somehow.

You'll notice there are no yellow separating stripes between the maroon (which looks more red than maroon) and gray. I believe another road (MKT?) had these colors.... Anyone know for sure?
