Re: (erielack) Kinzau



It was a tornado that went through the valley. Also as a bridge engineer who
has worked on another structure of the same vintage in the Southern tier of
NY I doubt that the bridge will be rebuilt since it is on the National
Register of Historic Engineering Landmarks. Reconstruction would have to be
similar to the original construction.  All the built-up bents would require
extensive labor so the cost to replace the bridge would be high.  Although I
understand the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources
is looking at options.
