The Erie units DO have numbers - but they're very small and at the back of the unit.

The DL&W units have some incorrect lettering on the sides, and if you REALLY want to be correct, you'll have to replace the roadname as well as the number. I personally haven't tried removing the P2K lettering, but some people have told me that isopropyl alcohol, dabbed on with a Q-tip, will soften the lettering so it can be removed...
