Re: (erielack) The Cigarette Girl



I rode the EL with some regularity through Scranton (4+ times/year) c.61-67 
and distinctly recall the character you describe who would come through the 
coaches with his strange call of "Pay-pee, Pay-pee".  I think he mighe have 
been a 24/7 type as I recall hearing him on #6 and IIRC #10.  This was the 
only such place on the EL I encountered this type of event and it seemed 
somewhat "big city" to me.  Thanks for the recollection.  M J Connor
