(erielack) tonnage ratings

What were/are the tonnage ratings for the different divisions? I have 
Conrail's 1983 track chart for the Southern Tier, from   what I can 
tell, the grades aren't that step, but they're long and have short 
reverse slopes every couple of miles. So what could a SD45, SD45-2, 
U25B, etc. pull at track speed? Often wondered, but never asked.
Second question: Does the web site at Akron U. work yet? I've tried in 
the past and couldn't get to it. EZ
