The J.L. Thomas refered to below as a train dispatcher is Jay Thomas. Jay was 
the last full time train dispatcher working days at the Bangor, PA office 
until it was closed in 1971. In its last days the office was open only for 
first trick. This was mostly due to the fact that the day train dispatcher 
was also the car distributor for the B&P. When Jay left at the end of his day 
he did a transfer with the Scranton Train Dispatcher and fliped a switch that 
would then connect the Scranton Dispatcher into the branches train dispatcher 
phone line. When Jay returned to work he made a transfer with Scranton and 
then disconnected them from the DS phone line.
