Hi Gary, There was one small mistake in your report of your loop trip. The DIB rule does not apply in the situation you described. The entire Montclair Line is now CSS (cab signal) Territory and both Tracks 1 and 2 are Rule 261(signalled for movement in both directions). The DIB rule only applies in ABS non-CSS Territory where a train having passed the Distant Signal slows to 10 MPH or less or makes a stop. What the trains do between Montclair Heights and CEDAR is make a reverse movement within the limits of the block block under verbal permission of the Dispatcher.
