BAck in the 50's and 60's, the Erie Passaic River bridge operated more than seldom. During the summer, my brother, sometimes a cousin or two, and I would hang around the Passaic Park station, and it was more than once a week that an oil tanker or barge would come along to go to the terminal near Gregory Av. and River Rd. Wish that I had paid more attention to the details.
