To recap what Paul touched on, we had 26 models entered in the contest, 23 of which recieved votes. Of those, we had 6 winners: Diesel Locomotive: (Tie) Jim Dalberg's DLW RS-3 and John Cannazaro's Erie RS-3 Steam Locomotive: Vince Lee's Erie Berkshire, which he displayed with his DCC system to show off the sound and lights Passenger Car: Jay Held's EL Thru-Line Coach Freight Car: Ben Bartlett's EL Coil Car Non Revenue Car (and also Best-In-Show): Ben Bartlett's outstanding EL Transfer Caboose. There were no Structures or Marine entries. Also notable were Greg Dickinson's Erie Decapod and Caboose, Vince Lee's Erie Sleeper and flatcar, Dan Biernacki's Erie Decapod, Matt Klemchalk's Erie Gas-Electric and Magor Caboose, Jim Dalberg's early, yellow-painted DL & W wood caboose, and Jerry Dziedzic even brought some beautiful NYSW equpiment. As Paul mentioned, the quality of work was just top-notch, a real treat to see. Many, many thanks to everyone who brought models and also to all the attendees who voted (even the one who voted twice; you know who you are, and so do I, ha ha...) Jim Harr * Ben Bartlett showed his scratchbuilt EL transfer caboose (BEAUTIFUL! With interior and all!) and scratchbuilt DL&W milk car (the underframe detail was amazing on this one!) * Vince Lee had a beautiful Erie Berk (I believe it was a Berk - or was it a 2-10-2?) * Jim Dalberg had a DL&W RS3, EL RS3, and three DL&W cabooses ------------------------------
