Re: (erielack) Points of Interest Bingo West



As far as I know the semaphore closest to Sayre was in Waverly, in the
villiage, and came out not too long after my shots of it were in Railpace in
1995... as part of the single-tracking of the tier a siding begins there, so
the signals were changed.

Were I going I'd probably poke around Elmira, Gang Mills and either the Bath
& Hammondsport/LA&L or west to the WNY&P depending on time and how much I
felt like driving... but it's been a long time since I was down there so I
don't know what there is to see (although you might take a peek in the yard
in Elmira for that Phoebe Snow boxcar).  Oddly enough I do manage to catch
something moving usually in Bingo, but that's been by luck when I happen to
be down there.

Anyone else have some ideas?
