I'd like you to know that the ELHS contributed to Kadee's research efforts
for this second run of BCK 40' PS1 boxcars. Special acknowledgment and
thanks are due to ELHS member and author, Ron Dukarm, for providing photos
and paint details.
Note that the BCK herald and dimensional data are further to the left in this
run, compared with their location on the earlier cars produced by Pullman
Standard. The builders logo and location has changed between the 1952 and
1956 production. The door mounted tack boards are now in their lower
location in the later car, and other difference are apparent upon close
comparison.
BTW, the first run sold out at Kadee within weeks of release.
