Re: (erielack) The mystery of the handrails.



I had always heard that the outside handrails on EL (Erie, DL&W) switchers
were due to a New York State requirement.  Yet in "Trackside Around Buffalo"
none of the LV switchers were so-equipped.  They seem to have handrails like
most of the models.

Could this be an ELHS project.  Perhaps Smokey Mountain Models could make
some sets for the Society.  Have always wanted these on my EMD switcher
models.
