Can anybody help?

It appears that my counter decided to stop at 999,999. Being in GA makes
this hard to correct - oh well

There has been much mentioned about an ATSF / EL merger in the period before
Conrail.

My question is: was this a formal study ?

Who did it (the railroads or a third party like Wyer Dick?

Is this study available anywhere ????????
