Didn't follow too many of the symbols back in the early '70's when I was
hanging out at Great Notch after school watching the parade of freights that
seemed commonplace for several years in the mid-70's.
e/b NY100 I remember seeing quite often, as well as w/b CS9
(Croxton-Scranton)(which occassionally waited at Great Notch for the hotshot
trailer train to come off the single track), both of which were usually mid-
to late-afternoon runs before the commuter parade began after 4pm.
Counterpart SC8 was almost always at night though. I also seem to remember
an e/b HB9 as well...
