Hi all,
At the ELHS meeting a lot of EL train symbols were given during many of the
slide presentations. I'd like to see if we can compile a list of known EL
train symbols here (Erie and DL&W will follow after this, of course!)...
This will help many with knowledge of operations, as well as identify what's
on a particular train and where it's coming from. Again, my west end
knowledge is limited, so West Enders, please fill in those blanks! :)
Some of the symbols were obvious ("BC-2" is Buffalo-Croxton), while others
were not ("TC-4" is "TransContinental"). And some trains didn't run during
the entire course of the EL.
Here are ones I can think of off the top of my head. I'll list them in this
order: Symbol, From/To, Traffic base, Years Run. If the symbol is blank, I
have no details
