Hi folks,

Check out the new issue of Railfan & Railroad (March 2002), which has an
excellent piece on the EL Dining Car Preservation Society in the "On the
Menu" column.

Also, a nifty book just came out today. Check out the attached to see the
(somewhat "distinctive", your comments may vary ;) cover... Heh heh.
(nothing like self-promotion!)

And finally, within said book is an excellent photo of Croxton Yard, and
through the kind permission of the photographer, Curt Carlough, is posted
along with this E-mail. The image is taken from the PC/NYS&W interchange
bridge looking northwest, the NJ Turnpike bridge outlining the top of the
image. The Susquehanna GP18 make a pickup at the yard, while two EL EMD
switchers work in the distance (the one at right is shoving cars over the
westbound hump). At the right is the piggyback facility. The cx-reg.jpg file
is the "standard size" image, while cx-huge.jpg is a higher-resolution scan
that shows details a bit better. Both images are copywritten and not for
redistribution or resale...

Enjoy!
