The RS1 is probably one of the nicest still around (and to think it's right
across the street from where I sit right now! :)
The individual, James Hager, once published a periodical called "Railroad
Update." The Pook Valley name comes from where he lives. Not sure what his
plans were, but the M&E owns both the ex-SP&S C425 and the RS1. The cab
interior is gorgeous, with nice hardwood floors. The M&E was supposed to
keep the unit for excursion service, but apparently 3 or more interested
parties have approached them about purchasing it, from what I hear... I
really hope it stays! :)
