Only thing that I can think of that Mars lights are more maintence intensive 
then ditch lights or regular static lights.  NYSW E9s have mars light, but 
I've never seen it used.  MILW 261 has a neat looking one, as does 4449 and 
that E5 but I've only seen 261 in person.
