Well Tim, Great to see that Picture! Now all we need is to get the Baggage Car
I keep seeing from the Lake Shore Limited at Elkhart, Indiana Station. It's a
Erie Lightweight! Then maybe the 1000 coach from the Ashtabula Carson and
Jefferson. It's ex-Erie too! Then the 6-6-4 sleeper from the NKP and Mad River
Railroad in Ohio.....Well Gee, we'd have a little Chicago Lake Cities Express!
If we wanted a Erie-Lackawanna train. We'd have to get one of the five Phoebe
Snow Coaches that are left. Say the old Star Clipper Dinner train (two cars)
Are they in Michigan? Or say the one on the Wellsboro and Corning? Then
there's
the one in Arkansas at Pine Bluff's Cotton Belt Railroad Museum. Perhaps the
one in Minneapolis with the 261 group.Hey, let's do it! Somewhere around
Cooperstown, New York there's two more 1000 series
coaches................Lackawanna Lance
