These too went to Striegel, about 1967 (by 1970 for sure).  Some if not the
whole group were resold to the Chihuahua Pacific (CH-P) in Mexico, who ran
H16-44's into the 90's - some rebuilt with chopped short hoods etc. -

That said I don't think any DL&W/EL H16-44 lasted that long except perhaps
as a parts supply.  One of their units, as a shell, was put on display at
some kind of memorial the details of which escape me, and a few were rebuilt
real late but I am sure especially what with the US roads taking over down
there, they're out of service.  There were some details in an issue of
Railfan & Railroad a while back -
